The story of the Mint first started when in 1965, His Royal Highness Prince Philip, opened the Royal Australian Mint.
Over the years, the Mint has produced more than fourteen billion circulating coins for the Australian population. In recent years, the Mint introduced numismatic coins that have captured the attention of the Australian public, as well as winning many design and engineering accolades worldwide.
The designs adorned on both the circulating and numismatic coins have captured the stories that have shaped Australia, both historically and culturally, on minted treasures.
Continuing this journey, the artwork of Australian coins has now been reinterpreted for its inaugural jewellery collection.
